Major turn of events for a head injury that hit a Chicago Blackhawks forward
Good news for the Chicago Blackhawks organization as Colton Dach has been cleared for contact after being in concussion protocol.
Dach is now back practicing with Rockford. Additionally, Wyatt Kaiser, also in concussion protocol, is back on the ice in a non-contact jersey.
This news is particularly welcomed for Dach, who has been sidelined since the beginning of the new year due to a head injury.
The Rockford IceHogs, the AHL affiliate of the Blackhawks, have three upcoming games, providing an opportunity for Dach to potentially return to action.
It's worth noting that the AHL All-Star weekend is scheduled for Sunday and Monday, February 4-5.
This positive development comes at a crucial time as the Blackhawks are on break for the NHL All-Star break, and having Dach and Kaiser nearing a return is a boost for the team.
