Ducks vs Blackhawks game gets heated following injury of top 2023 draft pick
In a heated matchup between the Anaheim Ducks and the Chicago Blackhawks, tensions flared as Ryan Strome of the Ducks exchanged blows with Blackhawks' defenseman Alex Vlasic.
The altercation stemmed from an unfortunate knee-on-knee collision between Vlasic and Anaheim's Leo Carlsson, resulting in an injury to the Ducks' No. 2 overall pick, but is was not intentional from Vlasic's side of things.
As emotions ran high on the ice, Strome and Vlasic engaged in a tilt, which lead to the typical outcome you'd assume between a 22 year old Vlasic and a 30 year old Strome.
