Former Chicago Blackhawks forward and current LA Kings player, Phillip Danault, recently revealed that he battled through significant injuries during this year's playoffs.
Despite facing immense pain, Danault played with both of his index fingers broken. The first injury occurred before the playoffs, followed by another break during Game 2.
Remarkably, Danault persevered, managing to play five games throughout the playoffs. Despite his injuries, he contributed one assist while averaging 17 minutes of ice time per game.
Additionally, Danault maintained an impressive 45% faceoff win percentage each night.
If this doesn't prove that hockey is the toughest sport out there, i don't know what will!
