Video surfaces of where it all went wrong for Leafs' Auston Matthews
Matthews missed Game 6 against the Boston Bruins, ending his 2023-24 season early due to an unknown injury. There's talk it might be a concussion, sparking guesses among fans and analysts about how bad it is and what it means for the team.
While waiting for the Toronto Maple Leafs to say something official, a video going around on social media shows Matthews getting a tough hit in the last regular season game, many are confident that this is how he suffered his injury.
In that same game, Matthews was trying to get 70 goals but didn't make it, ending with an impressive 69 goals for the season.
Some say he might have gotten hurt in the Bruins series too after a hit by Charlie McAvoy.
Until the Maple Leafs explain what happened to Matthews, people will keep guessing and talking about why he wasn't playing in the important playoff series against Boston.
