If you ask a hockey fan if he loves a good hockey fight chances are he'll give a a Stone Cold Steve Austin reply of OH Hell Yeah!" As a kid we all grew up watching our favorite team's enforcer throw down any chance he got, it had a huge influence causing kids to believe they have to fight in hockey.
Unfortunately now there's been a alarming rate of hockey fights breaking out in minor hockey league games as they try to copy what they see in the NHL.
However, in a game in the Midget Division of the United States Premier Hockey League this weekend started off like the popular Hockey film "Slap Shot." As soon as the puck hit the ice so did their gloves with 3 players on each side decided to throw hands like the Battle of Alberta back in the 80's.
This wasn't the only minor league hockey incident recorded this weekend as game in the United States Federal Province Hockey League game would have a fight between a goalie and player on the opposing team after taking a second shot in a shootout.
