Murphy's reaction to that hit:
"I didn't regain memory until I was already in the training room. So I didn't remember anything that happened. I just remember getting on the ice for that shift. Thinking about it, when you regain memory, you kinda think when you come to you're gonna be shocked but I was pretty calm. They told me right away what happened when I asked again. I didn't want to see the hit right away but I wasn't too rattled when I saw that either. Just understanding it's part of the game. More so, any injury I feel family and friends watching. Don't want them to have to get a scare of something happening that could be very serious. I was fortunate that wasn't the case, just hated that they had to see that."
Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun Times reported that Connor Murphy was at practice yesterday morning, however he only participated with Colin Delia and the other currently injured players. Those players being Kirby Dach, MacKenzie Entwistle, and Jujhar Khaira. Highly unlikely that we will see Murphy back on the ice the rest of this season, and that is honestly the right move for all parties involved. No sense in risking another injury in two final games that for nothing more than pride on the part of the Blackhawks.
