Things have not gone according to plan for the Anaheim Ducks so dad early in this new NHL season. The leagues 32nd team has been rough to watch and even that is an understatement.
While taking on the San Jose Sharks I didn't look like it was possible for their season to get any worse, initially, Jakob Silfverberg try's to lift the stick of the on rushing Timo Meier and things go from bad to worse as Silfverbeg scores on his own net.
This is very unfortunate for Anaheim, but how do you inadvertently shoot the puck like this on your own goaltender?
If the Ducks don't figure things out and soon, they could be in for a major shakeup pretty shortly. Much like many eastern conference teams this season, the ducks were projected to take a step forward this year, with continued play like this it looks like not only is head coach Dallas Eakins gone, but they've got an amazing shot at getting Connor Bedard.
