Should the Chicago Blackhawks try to sign the Russian forward? He has scored 20 goals and 53 points in 45 games this season for SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL.

Kuzmenko, who is only 26 years old, leads SKA St. Petersburg of the KHL in assists (33) and points (53) in 45 games. This will be his fourth full-time KHL season.

Kuzmenko is teammates with former Rockford IceHogs goaltender Lars Johansson at SKA, the same KHL team former Blackhawks forward Artemi Panarin played for.

Kuzmenko was one of the 36 players named to Russia's camp roster for the 2022 Beijing Olympics. He will be attend the camp with Blackhawks forward prospect Artur Kayumov, who plays for Lokomotiv Yaroslavl in the KHL. Andrei Kuzmenko should make Russia's final 25-man roster for the Olympics and, if healthy, play in the World Championship.

Should the Hawks try to sign the Russian sniper? If they could find another Panarin, or hey even a Panarin lite, it would bolster and give the offense some depth. This is truly needed as the offensive stats this year have been the culprit in most of their losses.
