BREAKING: Avalanche Make Final Offer to Kadri: Price Revealed..
The Colorado Avalanche are coming off a historic season with a huge Stanley Cup Win, that good of success sadly has its downsides, players with a Stanley Cup underneath their belt and on their resume are in need of a massive pay day. One of those players in need of a pay day, is current free agent Nazem Kadri.
NHL insider Frank Servalli revealed some huge news, that the New York Islanders offer to Nazem Kadri is $7 million per season, for a long-term deal.
Frank Servalli has also revealed the Colorado Avalanche are not out on talks of acquiring Nazem Kadri, but also aren't able to provide the same funds as the Islanders offered. A deal around 4 years, at 6 million per season.
Seravalli says that Colorado has offered Kadri less term than everyone else. Something like 4 years at 6 million.
What would you do?
A) Sign with a franchise that has not had any proven success as of late, for a lot more money.
B) Sign with a franchise that is coming off their best season in 10's of years, and a Stanley Cup Win. One million dollars less, but a genuine chance at a Stanley Cup.
Kadri is coming off one heck of a career high point season with a stacked Avalanche forward group, and may be looking to sign as long as possible somewhere as he may not be able to produce these numbers once again.
