The Chicago Blackhawks regret to announce the passing of an absolute franchise legend today..

Bobby Hull has sadly passed away at the age of 84, and will be remebered as one of the best Blackhawks to ever lace up the skates..

Via NBC Sports Chicago: The franchise's all-time leader in goals (604), Hull scored at least 50 in a season twice and was a first-team NHL All-Star in 10 of his 15 seasons in Chicago. He won two Hart trophies and three Art Ross trophies as a member of the Blackhawks. Only Stan Mikita (1,467) has more points in Blackhawks history than Hull (1,153). He was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame and had his jersey retired by the Blackhawks in 1983.

Bobby Hull still leads the Blackhawks' franchise in goals scored ever with 604 in as little as 1,036 games. His 1,153 points is third in franchise history, with two other legends ahead of him in Patrick Kane and Stan Mikita.

Hull is now with Stan Mikita and Tony Esposito, up in the sky. We offer our sincere thoughts and prayers to the Hull family throughout these difficult times.
