BREAKING: Blackhawks make 2 transactions official following long-term injury
Jarred Tinordi's injury during the first period against the Tampa Bay Lightning has forced the team to make a move.
The defenseman was among three players injured during the fight, despite the win over the former cup champions.
Jarred Tinordi (oblique), has been placed on injured reserve retroactive to Nov. 9.
Because of an injury that is still undisclosed, Jarred Tinordi will be placed on the injured reserve list.
It has been decided to place Tinordi on IR retroactively to November 9th and to make a call-up from the Rockford IceHogs.
It has been announced that Isaak Philips has been called up.
The 2022-2023 season saw Philips play 51 games for Rockford, scoring six goals and 17 assists for 23 points.
His production has continued this season, posting one goal and two assists for three points in eight games and is expected to play against the Florida Panthers on Friday.
In October, Phillips was called up by the Chicago Blackhawks to play against the Arizona Coyotes. He was drafted by Chicago in the 5th round 141st overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.
