The Chicago Blackhawks have been trading away almost everyone they can it seems. With Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson now looking to trade his two top guys captain Johnathan Toews, and Patrick Kane, this looks like it's going to be another tough year in the Windy City.
However, Davidson would make a very smart move today hiring former NHL'er Derek Plante as a assistant coach with the Blackhawks.
Plante was a very hard working player, the 51 year old American born player played for the Buffalo Sabres, Chicago Blackhawks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Dallas Stars where Plante would win a Stanley cup over in 1999 over his team the Buffalo Sabres.
