Not just Edmonton Oilers fans, but hockey fans in general held their breath for quite the amount of time during tonight's Edmonton Oilers vs Pittsburgh Penguins game.

Arguably the best forward in the entirety of the NHL, Connor McDavid, went hard into the goalpost. McDavid suffered a severe injury early on in his career to a similar collision which broke his collarbone and sidelined him for months.

McDavid left the game as he struggled to get to his feet, view the collision below.

Thankfully McDavid returned to the game, and there has been no update on a suffered injury.
