BREAKING NEWS:
Calgary Flames forward Matthew Tkachuk has been traded to the Florida Panthers. This marks the biggest trade of the century, the Calgary Flames are receiving Florida's alternate captain Jonathan Huberdeau and defenseman McKenzie Weegar who is a Canadian boy.
The FLames also received a first round pick alongside Jonathan Huberdeau and prospect Cole Schwindt
Tkachuk has already agreed to sign a 8 year $9.5 million per season deal with the Flames, he declined $11 million per season from Calgary. No extension is in place for Jonathan Huberdeau and he has not agreed to play in Calgary yet.
