Just one week ago the Buffalo Sabres got six feet of snow outside their home arena, yes, 6 friggin feet! Their game was in Toronto thankfully, but the NHL was tempted to cancel the game due to the weather conditions. The game was played, and not canceled!
Now, we have officially word that one team will be canceling their game today, on Friday.
The Nashville Predators will be officially canceling/postponing their game today at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, unfortunately it may be more then just one game after a recent flood took place, which flooded the entire basement and caused serious damage, check out this video below which shows just the start to the arenas disaster.
The Predators released a statement this morning which stated the following:
''Bridgestone Arena is experiencing flooding today due to a wain main break close to the arena. We are currently assessing the situation to make determinations about this afternoon's contest and the college hockey game scheduled for this evening.''
Upon further review they have notified the league that their game will officially be canceled today due to the water main bust/break.
