Sidney Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Casey DeSmith are all game-time decisions in Pittsburgh's 7pm match-up against Columbus. All 3 were absent from yesterday's practice due to what was only reported as «illness». Malkin, and DeSmith did skate this morning, and while Crosby was at the rink, he was not on the ice.

Ryan Poehling skated this morning, but is out with an upper-body injury (day-to-day), and will most likely be replaced by Danton Heinen.

Pittsburgh's EBUG, Mike Chiasson, was also at practice, this morning, as he'll be Jarry's back-up if DeSmith is unavailable. The Penguins do not have enough cap space to recall a goalie from Wilkes-Barre since Kris Letang has not been placed on LTIR.

Speaking of Letang, he also skated this morning; not with the team, but Ty Hennes was on the ice with him and had him in full gear. That might be a positive sign, as it has been stated multiple times that the team dose not let Kris do anything without full clearance from a multitude of doctors and trainers.
