BREAKING: The Boston Bruins Are Still Paying Mitchell Miller HOW MUCH? He Had His Contract Supposedly Terminated
The Boston Bruins quickly terminated their contract with the controversial player 72 hours after signing him when NHL commissioner Gary Bettman decided that Miller would not be permitted to play in the league.
Fans who hoped that Miller would gain nothing from his short time with the Boston Bruins, however, are in for some bad news. Regardless of the team's choice to part ways with him, Mitchell Miller will be paid, and it will be a significant sum.
Even though Miller will never play in the NHL, he will be guaranteed a salary of about $500,000 for the length of the deal. The deal, which had a three-year total value of $2,850,000 and an AAV of $950,000, was signed on November 4th.
Bruins Cam Neely called the Miller signing the teams absolute biggest regret on Monday morning.
«I take a lot of pride in what we stand for as an organization, and we failed there,» .
