against Sidney Crosby and the Penguins on Oct. 10 � a contest that could feature three No. 1 picks in Bedard (2023), Crosby (2005, PIT) and first-year Chicago forward Taylor Hall (2010, EDM). In the Chicago Blackhawks' opening game on October 10th, Connor Bedard will face his idol, Sidney Crosby.
Three 1st-round picks will compete in the game, including Sidney Crosby (2005 Pittsburgh Penguins), Taylor Hall (2010 Edmonton Oilers), and Connor Bedard (20203 Chicago Blackhawks).
As Connor Bedard plays his first official NHL game against his idol, Sid the Adult, this game may turn out to be spectacular.
In the WHL, Bedard had 71-72-143 points, and last season Crosby provided 30-63-93 points, which was consistent for the Stanley Cup champion.
