Blackhawks Defensemen Injury Update Following Questionable Hit Against the Wild
Blackhawks Defenseman, Caleb Jones, was injured after a questionable check into the boards this past sunday against the Wild.
Jones was clearly in discomfort following the hit and would not return to the game. Such a shame when players are injured during the preseason, but we need to remember that there are guys playing hard and competing for roster spots in each game. He has not practiced since the hit.
Luckily for Jones, he avoided any serious injury and is just dealing with discomfort from a general banged up shoulder. He is considered day-to-day and should be ready to go for the start of the season.
Another Blackhawks defenseman, Connor Murphy, also continues to be day-to-day with a back injury, though he was seen on the ice today at practice.
