Blackhawks Insider Gives Update On Jonathan Toews' Health During illness Battle
The Chicago Blackhawks General Manager Kyle Davidson had a fire sale the past week, trading away nearly half the roster. But one name that was discussed about being moved was "Captain Serious Jonathan Toews."
Toews was rumoured to be on the move to the Winnipeg Jets, Edmonton Oilers, or Colorado Avalanche, but unfortunately for Toews his health issues returned.
Many thought Toews was having the same health issues that made Toews miss nearly a whole year and almost ended his career. However, the Blackhawks said Toews is out with Covid like illnesses.

Jonathan Toews was with the team again tonight. He continues to workout off ice and be around the team while he deals with his CIRS/long COVID issues.
Luke Richardson said Toews continues to be a voice for the team even while he's «away,» but that all season he has encouraged others to have their voices in the locker room and not have it only be for «veterans» to speak up.

It's a shame that Toews' career could possibly end abruptly instead of on his own terms, whatever the future holds for Toews will back him and support him 100%.
