Not very often does a player rescind their trade requests once they have asked to be traded. However that's indeed the case here as Boston Bruins forward Jake DeBrusk has indeed told Bruins General Manager Don Sweeny he no longer wants to be traded from the Bruins.
DeBrusk was the Bruins 1st round pick 14th overall in 2015. DeBrusk requested a trade earlier in the season after feeling underutilized by the Bruins.
The Bruins would tell DeBrusk they would trade him when they got the right return. DeBrusk had a very good 2021-22 season putting up 25 goals and and 17 assists in 77 games. After a solid season the 25 year old had a change of heart and this is great news if your a Boston Bruins fan.
