Bryan Bickell had won three Stanley Cups prior to his career-altering announcement of his diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis in 2016-17, which ultimately led to his retirement before the following season begun.
Recently during an interview with TSN's Dan O'Toole, Bickell shared some details about retirement and his MS diagnosis.
The Bowmanville, Ontario., native Bickell, has reportedly took full-advantage of his retirement, splitting his time between fishing, and advocating for many charities.
Bickell, 36, last played in 2016-17 with the Carolina Hurricanes, skating in 11 games, scoring just one lone-goal.
The three-time Stanley Cup champion finished off his carrer with a bang. Bickell scored the gaming winning goal.
The retired NHLer played 395 career NHL games, split between the Hurricanes and Blackhawks, scoring
66 goals and 70 assists for 136 carrer points.
