Chicago has had no shortage of bad luck when it comes to goalie injuries, but today, that luck changes, as Alex Stalock is taken off IR and returns to the roster.
It has been one month and 10 days since Stalock's collision with teammate Jarred Tinordi took him out of rotation. Initially thought to be a concussion (his second of the season), further evaluation revealed he was actually dealing with lingering issues from the first one. Since then, he's been meeting with doctors, doing rehab, and skating wth the Captain.
Jaxson Stauber, who set multiple records during his NHL debut, will be sent back to Rockford with a 5-1-0 NHL record, and a SV% .91. There is no doubt that we'll see him, again.
For now, Blackhawks players and fans alike are looking forward to seeing one of their favorites back on the ice.
