Chicago Blackhawks Sign Top Goal Scorer
The Blackhawks have officially let go of several players which leaves tons of holes to fill in this Blackhawks organization with only so much money to spend with the rebuild approach mindset. The Chicago Blackhawks have announced that they are bringing a recognizing face back into the organization, AHL top goal scorer Dylan Sikura.
Sikura is a 5-foot 11 170 pound forward (centerman to be specific). Sikura was once a Blackhawk, he started off by getting drafted in Chicago during the 2014 draft. Sikura was a 6th round pick and never had the highest hopes or projection to produce at the NHL level, in his first season as a rookie 19 year old in the Rockford ice hogs uniform he put up 35 points, Sikura nearly doubled that in his most previous season playing for the Colorado Avalanche's American Hockey League affiliate team.
SIkura has never been given the opportunity to have a full time role on a NHL roster but after his past breakout season in the minors it will be exciting to see if he can continue his production on a rebuild Blackhawks team.
