On Saturday, the Montreal Canadiens faced the Chicago Blackhawks and Connor Bedard. During the hustle and bustle of the game, Jarred Tinordi and Kirby Dach got into an altercation.

A lower-body injury was diagnosed after Dach was hit into the Chicago Blackhawks bench, according to the Montreal Canadiens.

Kirby Dach left last night's Canadiens game with a lower-body injury.

The media has not been provided with any further information regarding Dach since this announcement.

In a shoot out over 10 months ago, Dach mocked Blackhawks fans. Could this be karma?

Having the Center out of the lineup could have a major effect on the Canadiens' plans to win and develop their forward core. Since Dach is considered the teams second center, it would also affect the lineup greatly.

His absence will be detrimental to both Alex Newhook and Juraj Slafkovsky, as Dach has helped them develop.
