The Hawks' possible newest recruit, and the most sought after draft pick since that other Connor, proves he's just as good at scoring goals off the ice as on.
Just because it's the off-season, doesn't mean there isn't still plenty of hockey to be played. In his first inline hockey league game of the season, Connor Bedard continued padding his resume by scoring 4 goals and getting 2 assists. Because of course he did.

Even though his team (the Great Guys) lost, 10-8, they made an incredible comeback to get within 2, and Bedard was a big help in that effort.

With all the media surrounding him, lately, and all his outstanding, record-breaking accomplishments, sometimes it's easy to forget that he is still just a kid. It's nice to see him playing a game like this. It's not as fast, not as pressurized as the NHL, the Olympics, the World Juniors, etc. His skill doesn't disappear; it's just in a setting that's more relatable to the majority of other kids his age.

Of course, Blackhawks fans aren't going to be mad about seeing more of this, either:

Enjoy your summer, Connor! Chicago is looking forward to seeing you, soon!
