Connor Bedard's First NHL Game is Against His Childhood Idol
Connor Bedard, the highly touted prospect, expressed his excitement and admiration for NHL superstar Sidney Crosby as he contemplates the possibility of facing him in his first professional game.
Bedard confessed that he tried not to dwell on the schedule too much, but the thought of sharing the ice with his idol since childhood left him in awe.
"I was trying not to look at the schedule. People were telling me, I didn't want to look too hard. Man, if I'm able to make the squad come October... That's my idol ever since I can remember. That'd be unbelievable."
With the potential to crack the lineup in October, Bedard dreams of the unforgettable experience it would be to compete against Crosby, whom he has idolized for as long as he can remember.
