Connor Bedard Has NEVER Eaten What? Not Even Once?

NHL Prospects vying for work in the NHL train, practice and eat as best as they can to achieve optimum performance.
Connor Bedards mom Melanie explained some of Connors eating habits growing up explaining,
"He's never had fast food...he will at some point, but he hasn't eaten at McDonald's or anything yet. I think we all know when we eat well, how you feel, and then when we kind of go off the rails. I think he's just aware of that feeling."
Bedard explained that a sensitive stomach has led him to be mindful of his food choices. Although he's never bitten into a Big Mac, he has eaten at Subway and had a Pirate Pack from White Spot when he was younger.
Other prospects said sometimes, in the off-season, or while on a long road trip, they have for sure had fast food on rare occasion.
At development camps, prospects are taught about eating and proper nutrition.
"Drinking alot of water and electrolytes leading up to a game definitely helps me," said DiVincentiis, the reigning OHL goalie of the year. "I like to drink pickle juice the night before a game. Get some salt in so that you don't cramp up as much."I did cramp up in a game towards the end of the 3rd.. normally we have Gatorade salts on the bench but this time we had mustard. That was probably the most disgusting thing I've ever had in my life."
Russian Vancouver Canucks defensive prospect Kirill Kudryavtsev usually sticks to the usual pasts and chicken but indulges in pirogies. As far as McDonald's, he has that in the off-season, and none during camp and the season. After a game it's pizza for the fast calories.
Beau Akey, a defensive prospect for the Edmonton Oilers leans towards Chipotle as a cheat meal.
"The burritos are unreal."
