Gear up for an anticipated showdown as the Chicago Blackhawks, led by their emerging star Connor Bedard, get ready to face off against the Oilers and the world's top player, Connor McDavid.
With Bedard being the most recent highly-touted prospect, it's only natural that comparisons between the two Connors would arise.
However, McDavid seems uninterested in entertaining those comparisons or expressing admiration for the young talent.
When questioned today about any advice for Bedard, McDavid responded with what seemed like an ignorant remark to many, saying:
"I'll answer this question for the 1000th time I don't give a there's not much advice that goes on around the league."
Bedard, on the other hand, chose a different path, taking the high road. When asked about McDavid, Bedard responded with positivity, saying,
"You just watch him (McDavid) like a fan. What he's able to do on a nightly basis is silly. Just what he has been able to do is remarkable, getting to see it up close tonight & going against it should be a lot of fun."
Bedard's comments reflect a mature and positive perspective, emphasizing his appreciation for McDavid's skills rather than engaging in any negativity like McDavid did.
As the teams prepare to face each other, the stark contrast in responses adds an intriguing layer to the matchup, showcasing Bedard's maturity and focus on the game rather than getting entangled in any unwarranted remarks. The upcoming game promises to be an exciting clash on the ice.
