Connor Bedard says these two people reached out to him
Connor Bedard has had a whirlwind past couple of days, as being the 1st overall pick in the NHL draft brings honors and lots of media attention.
During a recent media panel, Bedard was asked about his draft experience and communication with other players and the team.
He mentioned that he was pleasantly surprised when Patrick Kane and his favorite player, Sidney Crosby, reached out to him and had conversations with him.
Bedard had met Kane at a developmental camp recently, so it was understandable that Kane would want to stay in touch with the young player.
Nonetheless, receiving messages from his idol must have been an incredible experience for Bedard.
