Since hockey cards have come out, dating back to 1934 in London, Ontario's O-Pee-Chee Gum Factory, who put them in packs with gum, hockey cards have excited pack owners young and old.
Fortunately for Upper Deck, they have the exclusive rights to Blackhawks rookie Connor Bedard this season.
An exclusive autographed trading card deal with Bedard and the sole producer of trading cards with the NHL's No. 1 draft pick in 2023 2024 has Upper Deck "ahead of the pack" when it comes to hockey card companies.
At the NHLPA/Upper Deck Rookie Showcase in Arlington, Virginia last week, Upper Deck began capturing pictures of Bedard and fellow Blackhawks rookie Kevin Korchinski amongst others. You'll be able to collect Bedard cards in the base set and also in the "Young Guns" and "Future Watch" subsets.
