Eastern Conference team suddenly appearing as a dark horse for Marc-Andre Fleury
Less that two weeks ago the Boston Bruins seemed set in goal, the past week has been a real eye opener for the Bruins. Both Jeremy Swayman and Linus Ullmark have struggled in their starts since the All-Star break and Tuukka Rask suddenly and unexpectedly retired.
Tonight TSN's Jamie McLennan has suddenly named the Bruins as a dark horse to acquire Marc-Andre Fleury, who is expected to be traded by the Blackhawks before this year's trade deadline.
This season Fleury has posted a save percentage of .910 and a goals against average of 2.88, while playing on Blackhawks team that has struggled defensively at times. It is hard to believe that the Bruins would be willing to offer what the Hawks would covet for MAF. The Bruins appears to be in tough in the Eastern Conference playoffs with them chasing the Panthers, Lightning and Maple Leafs in the Atlantic Division.
