"We might get a better idea early this week about where he's leaning and what he's going to do," Friedman shared on Saturday night. "Kane has made it quite tricky, like trying to figure out an escape room."
The big question is, where will Kane sign? Friedman mentioned a couple of NHL teams that could be favorites, maybe the only ones left.
"While many think Florida, he's also looking seriously at Detroit,"
Friedman said.
The signing of Kane is interesting for two reasons: how he can help a team that's trying to win and the risk the team takes in signing him. Kane is a big deal in the NHL, but he just had surgery that has ended the careers of many hockey players. Nobody really knows how he'll be after that surgery.
