FLASHBACK: Toews Leads Hawks Into Saluting Troy Murray: Diagnosed With Cancer
FLASHBACK- August 9th, 2021. Troy Murray came forward, and brought his diagnosis to the Blackhawks sports community.
Revealing in a statement posted by Chicago's Twitter, that the challenge he was facing is cancer.
Murray spent a whopping 10 seasons in the Blackhawks organization, and after retirement decided to join their analyst team and has been with the Hawks for 20+ years.
While going through treatment, Jonathan Toews made sure Troy Murray was aware that Chicago had his back through his fight.
