Philadelphia Flyers defenceman Tony DeAngelo got himself in trouble Tuesday night during the game between the Flyers and Tampa Bay Lightning.
Out of no where, late in the 3rd period DeAngelo would spear Lightning's forward Corey Perry right in the soft spot.
DeAngelo got tossed from the game and was given a five minute major for spearing. DeAngelo will almost certainly receive a suspension from the League and also because that was clearly uncalled for, Perry wasn't expecting it when it happened and was in a vulnerable position.
