Former Blackhawks Legend a Possible GM Candidate For The Team..
The Blackhawks have recently announced a young Kyle Davidson as the general manager of the Chicago Blackhawks, and some are not too happy with his actions so far. Davidson specified when hired that the rebuild approach is the route he is taking with this organization, and since he has traded away a 23 year old prime Brandon Hagel that would have been a key piece and a cheap contract to kick this rebuild off.
Doug Wilson, former Chicago Blackhawks of 14 National Hockey League seasons has been the general manager of the San Jose Sharks for a whopping 19 seasons, today (April 7th 2022) Wilson announced that he is leaving the Sharks organization for good. With that experience under his belt and his relationship with the Blackhawks organization, Wilson may be somebody the Blackhawks can trust to take this rebuild seriously and do it right.
