Former Blackhawks Prospect Just Signed a Huge Deal

Former Chicago first round pick defenceman Adam Boqvist has just signed a contract extension with the Columbus Blue
jackets.
The new deal is a three year $7.8 million dollar contract extension with an annual salary of $2.6 million dollars.
Boqvist was drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks in the first round of the 2018 draft 8th overall. Boqvist was traded last summer to the Blue Jackets for Seth Jones and picks were also included in the deal both ways
The 21 year old Swedish defenceman had 11 goals and 11 assists in 52 games last season.
