Hockey Community Suffers a Tragic Death After a Loss Battle to Cancer

The Dallas Stars have taken to social media to announce a tragic passing within their franchise, the Dallas Stars revealed the following statement below:
It is with heavy hearts and great sadness we share the passing of longtime Stars locker room security officer, Don Widdicombe, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Don will forever be remembered as family. These doors will always be yours.
We'll miss you, Don.
Don sadly passed on the 30th, and his good friend Mike Modano made a posting as well:
He sadly lost his battle with Pancreatic Cancer, and will forever be remembered in the Hockey Communities Hearts.
