Hockey Insider Shares Some Shady News On Lightning's General Manager Julien Brisebois

We are just 24 hours after one of the biggest trades of this off-season when the Tampa Bay Lightning General Manager Julien Brisebois shipped off defenceman Ryan Mcdonagh to the Nashville Predators for Philippe Myers and prospect Grant Mismash.
Brisebois would would criticize the NHL flat salary cap as the reason he was forced to move McDonagh, and Brisebois would appear to be upset he had to make that deal.
However With with McDonagh having a no trade clause which McDonagh agreed to waive to go to Nashville, Hockey Insider Nick Kypreos would reveal The Lightning Gm had a plan B.
Kypreos would share the Lightning Gm Julien Brisebois made a side agreement with the Columbus Blue Jackets to place McDonagh on waivers for them if he didn't waive his no trade clause.
