Incase you missed the news the Tampa Bay Lightning's General Manager Julien Brisebois reluctantly traded away one of the Lightning's most important players defenceman Ryan McDonagh.
Due to the Lightning's salary cap struggles McDonagh is on is way to Smashville in exchange for defenceman Philippe Myers and prospect Grant Mismash.
After being traded McDonagh the hockey world was trying to get Mcdonagh's reaction as he agreed to compete some media interviews. McDonagh forgot one of the most important rules as a parent when your doing something in private without noise you gotta lock the door.
As McDonagh was about to answer some questions from the media, the door behind him would open. It was McDonagh's adorable young daughter who at that moment wanted to "tell her dad something".
As a father of four daughters myself I can definitely relate. McDonagh would also share this on Twitter yesterday after being traded to Nashville.
"As a player you want to be part of teams that have the chance to win the Stanley cup. This group is competitive, and I believe has all the pieces you need to win the Cup."
- Ryan Mcdonagh
