The Blackhawks made Bordeleau their first-round draft pick in 1969, and he ended up playing his entire nine-year career in Chicago. He scored 97 goals and 126 assists for 223 points in 519 regular-season games, and 18 points (six goals, 12 assists) in 56 postseason contests during his tenure.
