New Equipment Was Revealed For Blackhawks In The Winter Classic Game vs St. Louis
Yesterday, the Chicago Blackhawks tweeted out on the X platform the new goalie equipment for the upcoming winter classic game which is taking place at Wrigley Field on December 31st.
Many fans on X we're quite pleased with the equipment as it's a dull brown pad with the glove and blocker along with a sharp helmet. This equipment is a run up to the upcoming game that many fans are looking forward to.
Over the past couple of weeks, more has been revealed about the upcoming hockey weekend which will include a free NHL fan festival which will take place just prior to the game.
Even with the Blackhawks struggling this season, the team is trying to help build up the fan base as they will host the Winter Classic again since the last time they hosted was back in 2009.
The Blackhawks have been enjoying their last three games as they had defeated the Islanders, capitals and Kraken well working under their new coach Anders Sorensen.
Coaching bumps can occur for NHL teams as a new voice shakes up the dressing room and gets the players motivated once again well breaking up all the losing.
Sorensen currently has coached the Blackhawks for seven games and holds a 4-3-0 record for eight points and a .571 winning percentage. The Blackhawks have played better defensively and have been getting timely goals including several from Connor Bedard.
These winds are important for the Blackhawks as they approach the winter classic where all eyes on the NHL will be on them as they face off against the St Louis Blues.
The organization along with general manager Kyle Davidson will hope that the team or continue their winning ways and potentially turn this season around for a more respectable finish.
