Today is August sixth and we will be honoring the Blackhawks best number six of all time, many names can be brought up but one that stands out the most is vintage Paul Thompson, and his two Stanley Cup rings! His career summary is brought to you by NBC Sports Chicagos list of best Blackhawks players of all-time, ranked by jersey number!

No. 6: Paul Thompson (LW, 1931-39)

A two-time Stanley Cup champion, Thompson was the Blackhawks' leading scorer for six straight seasons, including their 1934 and 1938 championship runs. He amassed 264 points (118 goals, 146 assists) in 365 career regular-season games across eight seasons and had 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 24 postseason contests.
