It May be Time For Our Captain to Call it Quits..
Jonathan Toews has had a career worst season as injuries have piled up. Some fans think the captain needs to call it quits on his National Hockey League career so his injuries do not become long term, as they are mostly head injuries with concussions.
Toews has recently mentioned «I am fighting for my health» about halfway through the 2021-22 season, and has commented more earlier this season.
Long-term concussion problems with memory, communication, personality changes, as well as depression and the early onset of dementia. Those are all scary things that may be able to be prevented by our captain, if Toews prioritizes his health over hockey as he should.
