Jack Johnson Becomes First Player in NHL History do WHAT with the Stanley Cup!?
Jack Johnson has played a whopping 1,024 games in the National Hockey League, originally drafted by the Carolina Hurricanes third overall in the 2005 entry draft Jack never played a game for the Canes. He proceeded to be traded to the LA Kings where he spent a total of 6 years in Los Angeles.
He then spent 7 years in Columbus where he made himself a great home, he ended up signing with the Pittsburgh Penguins on a 2-season stint, and continued his journey the season after only playing 13 games with the New York Rangers- Jack didn't have a full time roster spot.
The Colorado Avalanche saw his potential and made the most out of it, he was along the ride for each and every Stanley Cup win, guiding Colorado's youth on the blue line with his 35 year old presence and sixteen years NHL experience under his belt, he truly deserved it.
What he did with the cup for his day with lord Stanley was like no other, nobody has ever done this.. Jack Johnson baptized his 3 little ones inside the Stanley cup!
