Blackhawks Organization Makes a HUGE Signing For Affiliate
The Chicago Blackhawks have officially announced the signing of Adam Clendening which is the ice hogs all-time leading goal scorer as a defenseman, Clendening was drafted in 2011 in the second round by the Chicago Blackhawks and since has played half NHL seasons with the New York Rangers, Edmonton Oilers and the Vancouver Canucks.
Clendening's most recent position was with the Philadelphia Flyers farm team where he put up a beautiful 47 points in 74 games played on the Leigh Valley Phantoms blue line, he is currently 30 years of age which may not seem too old, but for a AHL defenseman he is considered a veteran and will be taking multiple Blackhawks prospects underneath his wing to learn the game the right way before making the jump to the show, in the NHL.
Below, we can see his scoring ability in his past and also his tough physical ability.
