Kane's return to Chicago has officially been confirmed
Patrick Kane has signed a $2.75 million dollar rental contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
As the original 6 teams prepare to battle, Kane will be arriving with his new team soon in Chicago. There will be many young Blackhawks players who will remember Kane and his style of play.
Head coach Luke Richardson will use this information to neutralize Kane's impact on the ice, as well as DeBrincat's.

The hawks are in Detroit (checks notes) THIS THURSDAY.

If Kane intends on signing soon and playing right away, Kane and his original NHL team will battle this Thursday.
A matchup between the Hawks and the Wings is scheduled to take place at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 30th.
Richardson seems to think Patrick Kane will be in Detroit's lineup Thursday against the Blackhawks. We shall see about that.
"If he's ready to sign, I'm sure he's ready to play. I expect to see him. The good thing is our guys know...his tendencies out there. That's an easy pre-scout for us."
In 72 games split between the New York Rangers and Chicago Blackhawks, Kane had 21 goals and 36 assists for 57 points during the 2022-2023 season.
If it is indeed a homecoming, Luke Richardson will look to spoil it for the veteran on ice of course.
