Lightning Get Hit With BAD News Before Game 3
The Tampa Bay Lightning can't seem to catch a break with injuries as well as being down 2-0, some say it is because this is the first time Tampa has played a «real» team for the cup, the last two years were the Montreal Canadiens and Dallas Stars who are not a amazing team- but were made to be.
The Tampa Bay Lightning are now down 2-0 and are headed to Tampa Bay in must-win territory at home. If not, it'll be very bad- and can very well be a sweep for the Colorado Avalanche.
Especially with the news received this morning..
Tampa Bay Lightning head coach Jon Cooper released that Andrei Vasilevskiy will be starting in goal even though he let in 7 goals in game 2, oddly enough he didn't take part in morning skate but will still get the start.
As well as Brayden Point being a game time decision via Jon Cooper. It seemed like he was good to go and healthy to get back, but it seems as if the Lightning rushed Point to return and now he may have to suffer the longer-term consequences due to that fact.
