Luke Richardson shares some bad news about one of his players

It's been a painful year as expected in the windy city for the Chicago Blackhawks. The team is 7-15-4 this season and battling with the Arizona Coyotes, Anaheim Ducks, Philadelphia Flyers, and Columbus Blue Jackets in the NHL's basement.
Unfortunately things have gotten worse for the team as Blackhawks General Manager Luke Richardson has revealed that forward Andreas Athanasiou won't play Tuesday due to a family funeral.
The 28 year-old joined the Blackhawks this season after previous stops in Los Angeles, Edmonton, and of course Detroit where Athanasiou was drafted back in in the in the 4th round with the110th overall back in the 2012. Athanasiou has 6 goals, and 3 assists in 26 games this season, and has been a key standout player on the Blackhawks top line with Kane and Domi when they are together.
