Fans at home are enjoying the newly introducedPK Subban and Mark Messier, two former players, have recently joined the ESPN hockey panel. Arguments have frequently emerged when analyzing specific plays since Messier and Subban both played in 2 separate eras.

Ryan Lindgren, a defender for the New York Rangers, suffered an injury against the Washington Capitals on Saturday after taking ahard hit from Capitals forward T.J. Oshie, which Rangers head coach Gerard Gallant later referred to as a "cheap hit" during post-game interviews. Given that Mark Messier played in a far tougher era than Subban did, you may have expected him to be biased. Lindgren caused his owninjury, according to Messier, who thought the Rangers defender might have done more to defend himself.

Subban had enough and shook his head in disgust as Messier made his remarks. The eye roll says it all...
